Yes, I know you have always heard the Cow jumped over the moon but those stories are wrong. I am here to tell you it was actually a Monkey! I mean think about it... we have records of monkeys in space but not cows (that I am aware of). Ok, wise guy...I know what you are thinking...So, if it was a monkey, then why is the Milky Way not the Banana Way and why is it called the Moo-n and not the Mon. Okay, Okay those are good questions but in attempt to distract you I will stick my fingers in my ears and scream at the top of my lungs....LA, LA, LA. So, as I was saying a monkey jumped over the moon.
What convinced me of this? My 3yr old Son. Last night he looked up in the sky and asked, "Mommy, why is the moon a crescent?" I was shocked. How did he even know what a crescent was? So, I asked him exactly that. His response was, "Because, it is shaped like a banana." What eats bananas? Monkeys eat bananas. So, therefore, it had to be a monkey who jumped over the moon because I am pretty sure cows don't like bananas.
Yes, this is a ridiculous post. However, I think that we all need a little ridiculousness every once in a while.
